First, a follow up to last week’s post.
My pet monster is very healthy. I have spring (or summer?) fever. And (apparently) I’m also in the mood to co-opt the title of an older V6 song for the title of this post.
There’s a reason for that.
The temperature has been in the glorious, awesome 80s and 90s!
I’m in love with this weather, despite the allergies I seem to have acquired and the violent lightning storms that are one of its side effects.
Over the last few days, dandelions — fields of them(!) — have popped up all over the place. And now, all of the bright yellow is turning into white fluff against the grass. I’m surprised so many of the seeds are still clinging to their stems, given the intensity of the hot wind gusts.
They must not be ready to fly away just yet, and in the meantime, I get to enjoy the view. ☀️
