I read some josei manga because they remind me of my life and others for wish fulfillment.
Tramps Like Us by Yayoi Ogawa falls into the second category. But it never becomes pure fluff thanks to its characters — and to the genuine awkwardness that drives their sometimes goofy actions.
It’s a well-written fairy tale, where the leads overcome obstacles (real and imaginary) and “happily ever after” is another beginning.
