I took a quick not-quite day trip to Metrocon in Tampa, on July 13, and had to snap some photos (more below) of “PikaBelleChu’s” Pokémon-themed VW Beetle for my out-of-state pals.
Yes, the car has ears and a tail.
It’s been a fixture at Florida’s anime conventions for about 10 years. But at this point, I’m as impressed by its entourage of cosplaying Pikachus as I am by the vehicle itself. How much time did it take to create and assemble all those?
