As a college student in the ’90s, I listened to a lot of grunge. (It was practically mandatory.)
Chris Cornell of Soundgarden has a distinctive wail, and I love the interlude in “Spoonman” where you actually hear the dude play the spoons along with the band’s rhythm section.
