My copy of MBLAQ‘s Japanese debut single, Your Luv, finally arrived, along with my regular editions of V6’s Spirit and Guilty. (I’m collecting missing B-sides.)
The MBLAQ cover amuses me greatly. The concept for the “Your Luv” music video is that they are vampires – or something else – with supernatural, glowy eyes. The clip starts out with flying golden snitches glittery bats, and the slipcover actually has the sparkly glitter bats on it! 🤣
The cover proper (underneath) is pretty sharp. Why didn’t their label promote it has a different photo from the other editions? Some fans would have bought a second copy to get it.
Note to self: Do not choose the cheap shipping option from Japanese websites when you order something that streets during Golden Week!!
In other news, the storms here have been awful. Lightning struck (and toppled) a tree just around the corner from me while I was at work, and Kitty-mon is super stressed and jumpy. Poor little critter!
Hopefully, tonight will be better. It’s very windy, but relatively quiet, so far. 🎵
